Victoria Matthews was born and raised in San Diego, California. Victoria grew up in a life of ministry with a musically gifted family and has committed her life to the ministry of the Gospel since she was a child. This petite powerhouse is known for her powerful prophetic voice, raw passion for God, childlike faith, and confidence in His presence. She is part of the Open Door Family Worship Center where her parents, Pastor Charles and Dr. Gwen Matthews are the shepherds.

Victoria Matthews graduated from San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts as a vocal arts major, then pursued formal education in classical voice and psychology at Point Loma Nazarene University, completing her studies at Oral Roberts University. Victoria has become known for her versatility in various aspects of entertainment. From soul stirring Christian music to R&B, Musical theater, Jazz and Classical genres, she shines whenever she has an audience. Prior to pursuing a career in music, musical theater was her platform which landed her roles with All-Star casts and presented her with many well deserved awards, including the 2010 Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Young Actor. Now, an artist signed to M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records Inc., this singer songwriter is touching lives through her new single, Anchored.

Aside from her music and speaking ministry, Victoria has an undeniable heart for children. She is dedicated to raising up young worshippers who are sold out for Jesus, operating in their true identity, utilizing their God given gifts to express Jesus to the world around them. Being one who was captivated by the true presence of God at a very young age, Victoria burns with desire for all to experience God personally and intimately.

Victoria is a firm believer in the healing and transformative power of God’s love. The passion that erupts out of her every time she ministers is a byproduct of what she has experienced with God thus far. If you ask Victoria what scripture rings in her mind daily, it is Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”.
